Leamington Knock Out Birmingham City

Leamington knocked Birmingham City out of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 2-1 victory at the New Windmill tonight.

Ashley Simmons fired Birmingham ahead in the first half but Leamington hit back in the second with goals from Asa Charlton and Luke Corbett to book the Brakes place in the Semi-Finals.


Rugby Town's Red Insure Cup tie tonight at Butlin Road, had to be abandoned.

Fagan scored twice for Rugby against Daventry Town who had equalised twice before the floodlights failed and the match was abandoned in the second half.
