Leamington Go Eight Points Clear

Leamington FC went eight points clear at the top of the Southern League Premier Division with a 3-1 victory at Barwell in a re-arranged game.

Watched by a crowd of 357, Johnston fired the Brakes ahead in the 12th minute. Chilton made it 2-0 in the 61st minute and although Barlone pulled one back seven minutes later, Moore scored in the final minute.

Rugby Town's bid for promotion from the Southern League Central Division continues after a 4-0 home victory against Ashford Town (Middlesex).

David Kolodynski opened the scoring in the 6th minute with Gudger adding a second in the 37th minute. The majority of the 141 crowd had to wait until the 87th minute for a third from Blythe and a fourth from Belcher in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
