Leamington And Bedworth Win

Leamington FC won 2-1 tonight at Bedford in a Southern League Premier Division game.

Blythe put the Brakes ahead with a goal in the sixth minute. But the home fans in a crowd of 248 were soon cheering when Roberts converted a 16th minute penalty.

A minute later, it was advantage Leamington when David Kolodynski scored and that was the way it stayed.

 Bedworth United beat Leighton Town 4-1 tonight in a Southern League Central Division fixture.

Matty Piggon fired the Greenbacks ahead in the 15th minute but another 55 minutes passed before Dean hit a second in the 70th minute. That sparked a goal a minute later from Spencer and one from Wesley in the 79th minute.

Jell scored an 89th minute consolation goal as Bedworth romped to victory.

Rugby Town were beaten 4-2 at home by St Neots Town. Hamilton scored twice for VS.
