Leamington & Rugby Out Of FA Trophy

Leamington FC were knocked out of the FA Trophy with a defeat on penalties to Belper Town.

Siribour put Belper ahead in the 11th minute of this First Round Replay and   that was added to by Harrison in the 48th minute.

The Brakes came back with a brace from Bachelor in the 54th and 78th minute to take the game into extra time and then penalties. 

However, the Derbyshire based side won 4-3 on penalties to book their place in Round Two.

Rugby Town went out of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 defeat at Stafford Rangers, also in a First Round Reply. Quinn scored the only goal of the game with a 91st minute penalty.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Lee Knibbs' Southam United beat Nuneaton Griff 2-1.

Moore put the Griff ahead in the first half before former Sphinx striker Pav Tomczak levelled and Smith hit the winner.
