Leaders Leamington Lose

Southern League Premier Division leaders Leamington FC were beaten 1-0 at home by Chesham United.

A crowd of 501 saw Wales score the only goal in the 61st minute.

Bedworth United were pegged back by Chippenham Town at the Oval. The Greenbacks had taken a two goal lead through a brace from Lorraine in the 39th and 41st minute. However, in the second half, Phillips scored twice to snatch a 2-2 draw.

Rugby Town had a superb 6-2 home win over Uxbridge.  Goals from Youngs, Gudger, Kolodynski and Koriya had the Butlin Road side four goals up by half time. Youngs and Lake-Gaskin made it six before Uxbridge puiled two back in the last ten minutes.

In the Midland Alliance, Stratford Town drew 1-1 at Rocester. Tyrone Fagan levelled in the 59th minute.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood lost 2-0 at Bromsgrove, Nuneaton Griff won 1-0 at Brocton, Littleton beat Southam 3-0 and Atherstone lost 3-1 at Pershore.

In the Midland Combination Division One, Alvis won 2-0 at Droitwich Spa.

In Division Two, Coventry Spires won 3-1 at Burntwood, Coventry Spartans lost 4-2 at home to Inkberrow, whilst Kenilworth Town beat Leamington Hibernian 1-0.
