Kings Can't Take The Storm

Coventry Storm beat Kent Kings 59-33 at Brandon on Friday night.

The Storm were straight into it, taking the opening heat 4-2 followed by two 5-1's and heat four was awarded as a 3-3 after Adam Kirby fell.

Being ten points down, Steve Boxall took a tactical ride for Kent in a 4-4 and the deficit for Kent got worse as the Storm rode to a 5-1, followed by a 4-2 and two more 5-1's.

Heat ten was a 3-3 before the rain came down in the interval.

Another 3-3, a 4-2 for both teams, a 3-3 and a 4-2 for the Storm ensured that they stormed to a 59-33 win.
