Coventry Jets American Football Team have had a few issues of late, after having to forfeit our away trip to the London Warriors last month due to injuries we were forced to take the same drastic action in the return at home on Saturday.
As the Warriors had already arrived in the City we had a scrimmage, a glorified practice session, in which we unfortunately suffered two further significant injuries.
As a result of this we have since had to cancel our final game, at home to the London Blitz this coming Saturday.
Our season is now over & it has been one of immense disappointment. However, the management of the club are pleased with the strides that they have made in safeguarding the future of the club & are committed to further strengthening it in the coming months as we build towards 2012.
