Important Win For Coventry Rugby Club

Coventry Rugby Club had an important victory in their battle to retain their Championship status with a 38-35 victory at Birmngham & Solihull this afternoon.

Coventry had trailed at Sharmans Cross Road 28-17 at the break but scored twenty points in the second half to win the match.

Mackenzie, Merrigan, Jones, Apikotoa and Carpenter scored tries for Cov with Apikotoa converting a penalty and four conversions allong with one for Ben Russell.

Coventry are away to Moseley next Saturday before facing Rotherham at home in their final game on May 1st.

Coventry will next season, have the name of two hundred of their supporters on their shirts. The club is charging £100 to have your name on the shirt and are also offering 10% off when it goes on sale. For more information, click on
