Coventry Bees beat Peterborough Panthers speedway team tonight in the second of their two meetings today.

After this morning's 46-44 defeat, it was all back to Brandon and Chris Harris was back at Coventry riding at number one in place of the injured Hans Andersen, whilst rider replacement was needed for Travis McGowan.

Pawlicki and Haris started for the Bees in the opening heat on a warm night on the outskirts of Coventry but it was Peterborough who won the opening heat 4-2.

Two 3-3's followed before the Bees levelled the match with a 4-2 win in heat four.

Ryan Fisher gated well in heat five for a 4-2 before Pawlicki flew round for a 5-1 in the next heat.

Four 3-3's meant Coventry lead 33-27 after ten heats. A re-run heat eleven saw Ed Kennett power to a win for a 5-1 and with Pawlick doing the same in the next heat, Coventry were fourteen points up.

Pedersen had a tactical ride for Peterborough and earned a 4-4 but the Bees gated brillliantly in heat fourteen to ensure that although they lost 4-2 in the final heat, a 54-38 victory had already been ensured.
