Coventry Bees won 46-44 at Wolverhampton tonight.
The Bees were at full strength at Monmore Green and although they lost the first heat 4-2, Jason Garrity won the second to level the scores.
There was a 3-3 before the Bees had Kyle Howarth excluded and lost the heat 4-2 which was followed by Rory Schlein riding for a 5-1 with Ty Woffinden.
Hans Andersen and Chris Harris took a 5-1 and Garrity won for a 3-3 and again in heat eighr for a 4-2 which saw the Bees draw level at 24-24.
Garrity won heat nine in a 4-2, then after a 3-3, Wolves were level when they took a 4-2.
After the interval, Wolves had a 5-1 but Andersen and Harris replied with a 5-1 in heat thirteen to level the scores yet again.
Garrity took his total of points to seventeen with a win in a 4-2 victory and with Andersen and Harris getting behind Woffinden in the final heat, the Bees were able to take a two points victory.
