Great Away Win For Coventry Bears

Coventry Bears had a great victory at the Harvey Hadden Stadium this evening beating Nottingham Outlaws 44-16.

The Bear piled on the pressure from the start and  Ash Johnson scored, converted by Steve Coleman to open the scoring. 

Nottingham pulled a try back but Tanaka Chamunokara, went up the other end and scored, wide on the right from an Alex Brown pass.

Tanaka Chamunokara, then scored his second try of the game and a try from Chris Stevenson on the right saw Coventry go 24-4 up.

Nottingham scored a second try but Coventry led 24-8 at the break.

The Outlaws scored first in the second half with an unconverted try but Harry Kaufman made sure the pressure from the Bears paid off with a try.

Nottingham scored again but tries from Tyronie Rowe, Tom Tsang and Ross Bayston gave Coventry a 44-16 win.
