Gornal Thrown Out Of Midland Alliance

Gornal Athletic have been docked for fourteen points and thrown out of the Midland Alliance, according to reports.

The problem seems to have arisen in that players, Gornal had from Dudley Town on duel registration and were soon notified by the Birmingham County FA that the players involved were ineligible.

Gornal appealed and continued to field the players for the rest of the season, - something they were apparently told they could do while the appeal process was taking place.

But now, the club have been informed that they have had fourteen points deducted and have been relegated from the Midland Alliance League.

Gornal have appealed this decision.
