Good Knock For Bell

Coventry kid Ian Bell made 65 for Warwickshire in their first innings against Yorkshire on the final day of the County Championship.

Yorkshire, the LV Division One leaders had declared on 400-9 and sent Warwicks in to bat.

Ian Westwood knocked up a half century before he was caught by Rudolph off the bowling off Matthew Hoggard with the score on 103.

Skipper Darren Maddy was on fine form and past the one hundred mark from 157 balls faced. The former Leicestershire player and Bell upped the run rate before Bell went with the score on 237.

More runs from Maddy which brought up the second batting point and at 254-2 and Darren Maddy 135 not out, the game was declared a draw with both sides getting nine points each.
