In the 29th minute, Kohler ran in a try to increase the lead, converted by Hodgson but Henley came back with a 32nd minute try from Carter and on the stroke of half-time Comben kicked a penalty to make it 14-8 to Scott Morgan's side at the break.

Three minutes into the second half, Cliff Hodgson scored a try and converted and in the 63rd minute, he converted after Ryan had gone over for a try.

Henley had a penalty try awarded which Comben converted but a resounding win for Coventry was confirmed when Hurrell scored a try in the 75th minute.
