The Bees started with Anderson and Fisher but Peter Kildermand gated and took the win with the Coventry number one and two second and third in the opening heat.

Swindon had Darryl Richings taken to hospital after clipping Garrity's wheel in Heat Two and in the re-run, Garrity and Sarjeant took a 5-1 win for the Bees.

Heat Three finished in a 3-3 but in Heat Four, Fisher and Sarjeant gated for a 5-1.

Heat Five produced a three and in Heat Six, Hans Anderson got himself excluded for bringing down himself and Pedersen. When the heat was re-run, Callum Woodward got past Pedersen for a 3-3 to make the score Swindon 14 Coventry 22.
