Former Cov Rugby Owner Being Investigated

Andrew Green, the former owner of Coventry Rugby Club has been issued a 120 day suspension by the Rugby Football Union.

Mr Green, who tried to liquidate Coventry who ended up in administration and eventual relegation to National League One, is not allowed to have any management or admin role at any RFU member club for the duration of the ban which was issued on December 22nd.

Mr Green is being reported as currently being investigated by the RFU and likely to appear in front of a disciplinary committee, where he could face a charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

If he were to be found guilty then Mr Green could face a life-time ban from having any involvement in the game of Rugby Union football.
