Five Jets Players For GB Squad

The Coventry Jets are delighted to confirm that five players have been selected for the Great Britain Lions junior squad.

Junior quarterback Tom Clancy, offensive lineman Orlando Victor, defensive end Connor Nicholson and senior offensive lineman Krishan Sharma and linebacker Oli Campbell all had the best possible starts to their day with confirmation that they have been selected for the GB Lions junior squad for their forthcoming game.

Sharma and Campbell have been selected for the second year running, both having missed out on the European Championships in Italy last year due to injury. Clancy, Victor and Nicholson are selected for the first time and all five will be looking to make an impression at their next camp to ensure that they are selected for the GB Lions junior team.

Coventry University Jets are also represented, with DL and term time Senior Jet Kieran Griffiths and DB Lanre Agbaje also selected.

The seven junior selections for the Coventry Jets football family is a new record for the club and join previous junior graduates quarterback Joe Brammer and wide receiver Alex Preece in being selected for Great Britain.

We wish them all the best of luck for the upcoming selection camp.
