Warwickshire County Cricket Club won their third Twenty/20 Cup at Someret.

Having no result in their first game and the tie yesterday with Gloucestershire
Somerset batted first and made 78 before Langer was the first player out. Marcus Trescothick made 48 whilst the rest fell to the bowling of Chris Woakes who took 4-21 and new boy Chris Martin who took 2-23.

With Somerset all out for 131, Warwicks lost opener Jon Trott early for 3 before Carter and Troughton both made thirtys as The Bears went into the last over needing seven runs to win.

Westwood took a single leaving Ant Botha on strike. A dot ball followed and then he hit Blackwell for a four. Another single followed to level the match with two balls to go. Ian Westwood smashed a four to finish on 38 not out and give Warwicks a five wicket victory.

Warwicks are away to Worcestershire on Tuesday. Play is due to start at 5.30pm and commentary will be provided from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
