Easy Win For Blaze

Coventry Blaze had an easy 6-1 victory against Hull Stingrays tonight to keep them clear at the top of the Elite League.

With Paul Thompson back in charge after his international duty, Blaze took to the ice in front of a quarter full Sky Dome and three visiting fans.

Carlyle Lewis netted twice in the first period with his first goal on a powerplay before Blaze found the net three times in the second.

In the third period, Dan Carlsson hit a six before Hull pulled one back with fifty seconds of the match remaining through Kalmikov.

On Saturday, the Blaze travel to Sheffield Steelers before taking on Basingstoke Bison at the Sky Dome on Sunday. This will be good preparation for the Blaze who travel to Bolzano in Italy for the Continental Cup.
