After the game, Coach Ty Watson, who scored in the match told his club's website: "We had a few players playing out of position today and the return to first team duty for young Tanaka Chaunokara was a bonus. Lee Ashford was immense today. It took us to the second half to really get going but then I thought we were really starting to play in our old style."
