Eagles Stung By Bees

Coventry Bees Speedway Team recorded back to back victories with a 52-38 victory over Eastbourne tonight.

At Brandon, the opening heat saw a re-run 3-3, followed by Eastbourne strolling to a 5-1 and this was mirrored in the next two heats to put the Eagles 16-8 up.

The Bees came back with Zengota and Robson taking a 4-2 and then in the next heat, Olly Allen and Krystof Kasprzak rode to a 5-1.

Eastbourne took a 5-1 in heat seven but back came the Bees with a 5-1 of their own through Allen and Michael Szczepaniak.

Cameron Woodward was finally exluded after falling in heat nine and this allowed the Bees to take a 4-2 to level the scores at 27-27.

A 4-2 had Eastbourne back in front but four 5-1's to the Bees and a 3-3 in a thrilling meeting gave Coventry a 52-38 win.
