Draw For Warwickshire

Warwickshire County Cricket Club ended up with a draw from their County Championship game at Hove against Sussex.

Needing 504 to win, Richard Montgomerie had Sussex within one hundred of the total on the final day with a 440 ball innings of 195 before being bowled by Alex Loudon who took four wickets for 123 in 49 overs. Loudon was one of eight bowlers used by Darren Maddy.

Sussex finished on a score of 405-5 and gave them seven points whilst Warwicks performance earned them twelve points.

In the test match, Coventry kid Ian Bell made 63 as England replied to India's 664 with a total of 326-9 after ninety overs.
