Coventry Bears Rugby League team drew 26-26 with Heworth at the Butts Park Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears took a fourteenth minute lead when Alex Brown scored under the posts and Stephen Coleman converted his try.
Heworth ran in an unconverted try but Cov went up the other end and Coleman kicked a penalty to make it 8-4 in the 33rd minute.
Coleman added to his points tally when he converted after Dan Poulton scored with a try, only for the visitors to draw level with two tries.
Tries from Matt Cooper and a second from Poulton had Cov twelve points up but two late tries from Heworth ensured that they left with a 26-26 draw.
