Defeat For Nuneaton, Draw For Leamington

Nuneaton Town went down to a 2-1 defeat at Salisbury City in a Conference Premier Division game this afternoon.

Kevin Wilkins' side took a 34th minute lead through Danny Sleath but some poor defending allowed James White to equalise nine minutes later.

In the second half, another defensive mistake saw Elliott Frear score a 55th minute goal which was enough to send Nuneaton to defeat.

Leamington made the long trip to Barrow and came back with a point after a 0-0 draw.

Rugby Town went down to a 1-0 home defeat by Beaconsfield SYCOB.

The only goal of the game came in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time for the visitors from Hutchinson in front of a crowd of 254 at Butlin Road.

Stratford Town, Bedworth United, Alvis, Atherstone, Coventry Copsewood, Nuneaton Griff, Racing Club Warwick, Southam United, Kenilworth Town and Austrey Rangers all had their matches postponed.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Coventry United were beaten 1-0 at Allard Way by Leamington Hibernian but FC Stratford beat Barton United 1-0.
