Coventry Moto GP rider Cal Crutchlow finished fourteenth in the Assan GP this afternoon.

There had been rain in the local but most riders opted for dry tyres including Crutchlow who qualified in sixth but moved up to fourth on the opening lap.

Crutchlow who had overcome a fractured collarbone which saw him miss the Moto GP at Silverstone, developed a front tyre problem and had to go into the pits to change it.

He did return and finished in 14th place behind winner Ben Spies, second placed Casey Stone and third placed Andrea Dovizioso.
