Coventry born Cal Crutchlow was delighted at finishing the Iveco Daily TT in Assen in ninth place on Saturday
After a number of crashes and bike problems, Crutchlow was able to finish the race won by Marq Marquez for an eighth successive time.
Crutchlow tweeted: "Going out celebrating tonight. The bike & I finished a @motogp race today ! Been a while.Ha."
Crutchlow is sixteenth in the overall standings, some 178 points behind Marquez.
