Coventry born Cal Crutchlow crashed out of the Gran Premio Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera de Rimini in Misano today.
The Yamaha Tech 3 rider had started in third but crashed out in the early laps of a race shortened to 27 laps.
Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo took the victory ahead of Valentino Rossi and Álvaro Bautista.
