On Friday 16th May, The Coventry Walk of Fame project becomes a reality with the unveiling ceremony-taking place at Priory place, Coventry at 12.00pm to 12.30pm.

Representatives of all the ten recipients will be present, including Pop Mogul Pete Waterman, members of the Ska band The Specials and sporting legends Dave Moorcroft and Former Coventry City manager and chairman Jimmy Hill. As well as relatives of Sir Henry Parkes, Sir William Lyons, Sir Frank Whittle and Mo Mowlam.

To accompany the ceremony, multiple hit including 1987 FA Cup Final song "Go For it" songwriters/musicians and producers, Steve and Heather Taylor have produced an anthem entitled "They Touched The Heart of the World". It's sung by 21-year-old Coventry girl Debbie Hall, who is performing the song under her professional name Chilë Rose. This inspiring anthem will open and close the ceremony on the 16th.

The original idea for the Walk of Fame came from Coventry Music Historian Pete Chambers, who was quick to praise the anthem. "I think the song really says it all perfectly, it brings home the message of just how influential this great city of ours has been in many ways. It's cleverly constructed and beautifully sung and the fact it's written and performed by Coventry people, makes it all the more poignant".
