Coventry Godiva Coach Gets An OBE

Coventry Godiva Athletics team coach Zahara Hyde Peters was awarded an OBE in the Queens Birthday Honours announced today.

Peters is the CEO of the British Triathlon Federation and was a technical director for endurance events in the UK for eight years, as well as being one of the coaches at the Godiva Athletics Club.

She admitted to the CT, that she was hugely privileged to get the honour.

Other Coventry people to be given honours are Brenda Whitmore, former Council Leader Ken Taylor, David Dumbleton, Bernard Delaney and Peter Pinnell.
