Coventry Copsewood And Alveston Through To Charity Cup Semis

Alveston and Coventry Copsewood are through to the Semi-Finals of this year's Coventry Charity Cup after Quarter-Final victories this afternoon.

With Witherley's pitch unplayable, Alveston had home advantage and used it to win 1-0 with an 85th minute goal from Richard Eastell.

Coventry Copsewood won 5-1 at Mount Nod Highway in the other outstanding Quarter-Final. Lee Hunt, PJ Gordon, Curtis Jackson, Joe Holcraft and Ross Wimbush all scored for Copsewood in a game which was 1-1 at half-time. Nick Kirk scored for Mount Nod.

The draw for the Semi-Finals will be made on Monday night and will be featured on this site.
