Coventry Blaze completed a double win over the Hull Stingrays with a 3-2 victory at Hull tonight
At Hull tonight, the Blaze took the lead on 2.16 when Farmer scored, assisted by Weaver before the Stingrays levelled on 18.18 through Silverthorn.
There was only one goal in the second period and it fell to the Blaze who scored on 37.10 through Owen with an assist for Nell and Fulghum.
Hull scored the only goal of the third period through Rodin with a one on one breakway on 46.08 to take the game to over-time.
Only thirty seconds of extra time were needed before Gordon scored to give the Blaze a 3-2 win.
