Coventry Blaze Win At Sheffield

Coventry Blaze won 4-3 at Sheffield Steelers in an Elite League game tonight.

The Blaze travelled to Sheffield and went two goals down in the first period through Tylor Michel on 5.52 and then through Ashley Tait on 9.55.

However, Coventry were back for the second period and Greg Leeb, assisted by his brother pulled one back on 21.22 before Gerome Guidice levelled on 28.19, assisted by Sam Smith.

Then the Blaze took the lead through  Mick Schutte on 34.23 with a powerplay play goal, assisted by Greg Leeb and Shea Guthrie but on on 38.51, Jeff Legue tied the game, meaning it was 3-3 going into the final period.

A minute and seventeen seconds in to the third and the Blaze were in front once more thanks to Mike Schutte getting his second of the evening, assisted by Guthrie and Greg Leeb and that was the way it stayed.
