Coventry Blaze beat the Braehead Clan 5-1 tonight at The Sky Dome in an Elite League fixture.
Jade Galbraith was due back on the ice in a second after getting a two minute penalty for hooking when Coventry took the lead through Gerome Giudice scored, assisted by Matt Beleskey and Greg Leeb on 20.50.
It was Galbraith who levelled on 24.03, assisted by Ash Goldie but the Blaze were back in front when Russ Cowley fired home a short-handed goal on 31.07, assisted by Mike Beleskey.
Twenty three seconds into the third period, there was a third goal for the Blaze when Brad Leeb netted, assisted by Russ Cowley & Mike Schutte.
On 47.07, It was 4-1 to the Blaze when Greg Leeb, scored assisted by Brad Leeb and Russ Cowley and five minutes later, a good win was finished off by Russ Cowley getting his second, assisted by Brad Leeb and Jerramie Domish.
