Coventry Bees Win At Kings Lynn

Coventry Bees Speedway Team won 48-44 at Kings Lynn tonight in an Elite League meeting.

Using rider replacement for the suspended Ed Kennett, Emil Sayfutdinov was beaten in the opening heat by Kenneth Bjerre for a 4-2 to Kings Lynn.

Nick Morris gated too early in the second heat but all four were back and this time, Morris got it right and got off to a flyer to win with Josh Auty coming second for a 5-1 to Coventry.

Heats three and four were 3-3's and with Emil Sayfutdinov winning the fifth heat for a 4-2 to the Bees, Coventry were 17-13 up.

The Bjerre's combined for a 5-1 win and then Pawlicki and Fisher did the same to see The Bees back in front once more.

Nick Morris fell in heat eight but was ok to continue and for heat nine, Sayfutdinov was the replacement and he w48-44on for a 4-2 to make it 30-24 to the Bees.

After the interval, heat ten produced a 3-3, followed by another great ride from Sayfutdinov with Larsen coming in second for a 5-1.

Being ten behind Kings Lynn had a tactical ride in heat twelve and earned a 4-4.

Iversen beat Coventry's Russian rider for a 4-2 and in heat fourteen, with Kings needing two 5-1's to even force a draw, it was everyone back after an unsatisfactory start. Nick Morris' bike packed up but the Bees took a 3-3.

Bjerre and Iversen won the last heat 5-1 but Coventry won the match 48-44.
