Coventry Bears Win Away

Coventry Bears Rugby League team won 36-20 at St Albans Centurions today.

In the tenth minute, Ted Lang scored in the corner, converted by Steve Colman to put the Bears 6-0 up. 

Ten minutes later, Tobias Rochester added a second try for Coventry which was unconverted after the home side had levelled with a converted try.

Ash Johnson got down the right following a scrum to make it 14-6 to Coventry and with the Centurions getting in a try from the last tackl, the Bears had a four point lead at the break.

In to the second half and Tanaka Chamunokara ran in a try after a strong kick and chase and Coleman converted. 

However, the ten point lead was not to last and the Centurions came back with two tries, the first converted to level the scores at 20-20.

Coventry came back once again with Luke Srama making the most of two drop outs to score a converted try and Elliott Hirst going over with Coleman again converting to put the Bears 32-20 up. 

Brad Massey added another try for Coventry when he scored from a scrum to give The Bears a 36-20 victory.
