Coventry Bears Rugby League team stuffed Featherstone Lions 54-22 at the Butts Park Arena this afternoon.
The Bears conceded an eighth minute try but came back straight away with a try of their own from Ste Coleman, which was converted to make it 6-6.
In the 16th minute, Ross Bayson drove over the line for a try and five minutes later he scored again, with the try this time converted to make it 16-6.
Tom Davies scored a converted try in the 25th minute, followed by one for Gavin Grant on the half hour mark.
Rob Knox added another try before Featherstone scored a try to see the Bears leading by 34-12 at half-time.
Featherstone scored a try three minutes into the second half but in the 50th minute, Coventry were back on the board when Bayston released Fabrizio Ciaurro to race over and score.
Grant scored a second try and Featherstone responded and both sides scored a try each before the final whistle went and Coventry were 54-22 victors.
