Coventry Bears Rugby League team were beaten 23-16 by Underbank Rangers at the Butts Park Arena on Saturday.
The Bears trailed 18-6 at the break with Alex Mills scoring a super solo try and scored a second try through Dave O'Connor in the 47th minute.
Trent Achilles ran in a third try for the Bears but they could not prevent the defeat.
In the MRL Final, Coventry Bears U16's beat Leicester 30-18.
