After scoring more than fifty points against Featherstone Lions at The Butts Park Arena last Saturday, the Coventry Bears Rugby League team won 44-18 at Featherstone this afternoon.

The Lions took the lead with a dubious penalty but Harry Marks ran in an unconverted try in the 23rd minute to reduce the arrears.

The Lions scored again but a 34th minute Needham try which Coleman converted and then Achilles breaking and finding Tom Tsang who scored by the posts and Coleman converted had The Bears 16-12 up at half-time.

Needham scored his second try of the game early in the second half before the Lions pulled a try back.

Dixon then went over for a converted try as did Wilson and this was added to with tries from Carlton and Brown to give Coventry a 44-18 win.
