Coventry Rugby Club were beaten by Redruth at Butts Park Arena this afternoon.
Owen Hambly scored a try in the opening minute in front of a crowd of 774. That was added to by Matt Bowden eleven minutes later with Arron Penworthy converting.
On the half hour mark, Coventry struck back with a penalty try which Elliott Read converted. Then in the 35th minute, Jeff Gregson went over with Read again converting.
Just before the interval, Read added seven more points to his total when he went over for a try and then converted.
Mark Bright scored a try in the 41st minute which Penworthy converted before Owen Hambly scored his second try of the match.
In the 55th minute, Tom Warren ran in a try for Coventry but in the final minute, Arron Penworthy kicked a drop goal to give Redruth the win.
