Coventry Rugby Club beat Birmingham & Solihull tonight by 24 points to 7.

At the Butts Park Arena tonight in front of a crowd of 1,042, James Hall (4 mins), Phil McKenzie (10 mins) and Alex Shaw (47 mins)had tries converted by Ben Russell for Coventry with Russell also converting a 42nd minute penalty.

Birmingham & Solihull's 15th minute try came from Simon Hunt with a conversion by Ricky Aley.

On Wednesday night, Coventry, who are second bottom of the Championship table following a fifteen point deduction for going into administration, are at home to 10th placed Doncaster. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
