Coventry Rugby Club were back to winning ways with a 38-3 victory over Macclesfield at the Butts Park Arena this afternoon.

A crowd of 849 saw Longmore kick a penalty to put Macclesfield ahead in the 11th minute but Phil Maynard's side came back when Hodgson kicked a penalty twelve minutes later.

Coventry went in at half-time ahead thanks to Harris running in a try in the second minute of stoppage time.

It was a lead they did not lose and in the second half, Hodgson kicked a drop goal in the 51st minute, followed by a penalty nine minutes later and a second penalty in the 63rd minute.

In the 69th minute, the points tally for Hodgson continued when he converted after Evans had ran in a try and repeated the feat ten minutes later, when Le Roux went over.

In the second minute of stoppage time, Coventry were awarded a penalty try and Hodgson converted to give Coventry a 38-3 victory.
