Cov Kid Plays In England Rugby Win

Coventry kid Tom Wood played for England's rugby team in their Six Nations 26-19 victory against Wales tonight.

The former Woodlands Pupli, who started off at Barker Butts Rugby Club and plays his club rugby for Northampton, played in the game at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff which saw England score two tries from Sam Ashton either side of one from Stobart.

England had got into a 13-6 lead at the break and added ten more points in the second half before Wales came back reducing England's lead to four points before Jonny Wilkinson kicked a late penalty.
