The Godiva Festival kicks off on Friday at the War Memorial Park in Coventry.
A music festival featuring a number of different genres of music with the 80's legends The Human League featuring former Coventry resident Phil Oakey (Friday 9pm), the Super Ferry Animals and Coventry's own The Enemy (Sat 7.35pm) who have caught the imagination of the people of our world famous city and further afield with their new CD "We'll Live And Die In These Towns".

Their high energy gig will no doubt end with a chorus of the Sky Blue Song.

Before they play,Coventry will have it's customary carnival procession which starts at 11am, going round town after leaving Belgrade Plaza ,before heading up the park. There will be plenty of things for children to do with a kids tent.
