Baz Carey who took Amir Khan to four rounds is to fight Billy Smith for the Midlands Area light welterweight bout at The ICC in Birmingham on Saturday September 15th.
Ten days later, another City supporting boxer Neil Simpson will be in action in Hull when he takes on Tony Booth for the British Masters Cruiserweight title.
Simpson had retired from the sport but decided to carry and is training with Carey at the Captiol Gym in Longford.
