Coventry Copsewood FC have been reinstated back into the FA Vase.

The Allard Way based club had been beaten 3-1 by fellow Midland Combination side Pilkington XXX.

However, the Birmingham based club fielded Daniel Byford who was under suspension and ineligible for the match.

Copsewood appealed and yesterday an FA Vase sub committee decided that Pilkington XXX had breached FA Vase Rule 15(c) and removed them from the competition allowing Copsewood to take their place and receive the prize money.

Copsewood now travel to Dosthill Colts in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday.
