Coventry band The Enemy are to be given a civic reception by Coventry City Council.

The trio who were the first Coventry based band to get a number one album are to be contacted by the Lord Mayors Office to confirm a date for the reception which has cross party support, even if a number of Councillors have not heard any of their songs.

The band supported the Rolling Stones last weekend and also played a gig in Pentonville Prison which gave Tom,Andy and Liam who was placed in a cell as part of the event to highlight the high count of suicide amongst males, something to think about.

Their next gig is in Jersey this weekend.
