City Physio Completes Fifth London Marathon

Coventry City first team physio Michael McBride has beaten his London Marathon time of last year.

The City Physio who is also the Scottish National Team's physio set a time last year of 3hr 16 minutes.

However this year, Michael, who was running to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, was able to knock five minutes of his time and finish in a time of 3hr,11 minutes and 20 seconds, which gave him an overall place of 1895, 1747 in the mens race and 966 in his category.

Coventry City Ladies player Crissy Torkildsen who was running for Addaction,the UK's leading specialist drug and alcohol treatment charity. Website http://www.addaction.org.uk/ finished in a time of 4hrs 10 mins and 12 seconds. She finished 11458 overall, 2379th in the Womens race and was placed 1432 in her category.

Former Coventry City Ladies player, former Coventry City In The Community employee and long standing City supporter Clare Maslen finished in a time of 5hr 19 mins and 33 seconds to finish 26986 overall. She was 8237th in the womens race and 5141 in her category.



Clare ran for the London Marathon for Crohns Disease which she has suffered from for a number of years. For more details, please click on

City London Supporters Club member Simon Fahy finished in a time of 4hrs:10 mins and 10 seconds to place 11454th overall, 9076 in the male race and 4861 in his category.
