Brave Copsewood Go Out

Copsewood (Coventry) Ladies put up a battling displayed but went out of the Womens' FA Cup with a Fourth Round defeat at Doncaster Belles.

Ryan Conneely took his side to face probably the best known of all the women's teams in this country, who have been dumped into the new second division of the Women's Super League at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Belles went ahead in third minute when Leandra Little scored after England's shot was blocked and added a second in the 28th minute when Little's header hit a post and Beth England scrambled in.

Copsewood pulled a goal back in the 33rd minute when Williams ran through to score but straight after the restart, Beth England scored a third for The Belles after getting to a long ball.

In the 76th minute, Jess Sigworth curled home from 25 yards and Copsewood's run in the competitio was over after a 4-1 defeat.
