Coventry Bees top rider Chris Harris was involved in a gun point robbery when he went for a pint in a Warwickshire village.

Two masked men wielding a shotgun and a crowbar entered the pub and terrorised the bar staff before taking £110 in a crime reminiscent of many which had been carried out against pub and club staff in Coventry and Warwickshire over the last two years.

Harris and everyone else involved in the ordeal was ok and he will ride for the Bees on Monday night in the Sky televised meeting at home to Swindon, on Wednesday at Poole and on Saturday in the British Grand Prix at Cardiff's Millenium Stadium.
