Blaze Win On Penalties

Coventry Blaze beat Dundee Stars on penalty shots after coming back from 3-1 down in an Elite League game tonight.

On 11.03, Tim Kraus fired the Stars ahead on their home ice, assisted by  Tristan Harper and AJ MacLean who went on to score on 28.48 with a powerplay goal and a third for the Stars on 44.03.

Shea Guthrie scored twice for the Blaze with his second a short handed goal on 56.33, assisted by Mike Beleskey and it was another short handed goal on 57.39 from Mike Schutte, assisted by Brad Leeb and Greg Leeb which sent the game into over-time.

That failed to produce a winner so the game went to penalty shots and the Blaze won to take the game 4-3.
